Tea Tasting Workshop

Our tea tasting gift voucher will make an ideal gift for Christmas, birthday, Valentines day and many more special occasions. We offer monthly tea tasting workshop with different themes. 

Our monthly tea tasting workshop is held in our tea boutique in Carouge, Rue Saint-Joseph 13, Geneva, Switzerland. Please checkour tea tasting workshop schedule below and contact us by phone or email to book your place. Due to the limited space, tickets are sold out quickly.

Our popular tea tasting themes vary and the workshop lasts approximately 2 hours, with a small group of 6 - 8 participants.

  • World Tea Discovery - tasting 6 different tea types (e.g. white, green, yellow, oolong, black, dark teas) from various tea growing regions around the world (Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan, India) and learning about different tea production method, tea cultivars grown in different tea regions around the world. You will taste 10 -12 different teas from our carefully curated tea selection.

 

  • Focused Matcha Tasting - tasting and learning about 12 - 15 different japanese matcha made from different cultivars grown in 4 different matcha production regions in Japan. You will taste matcha made from single-cultivar to blended matcha, difference between Usucha and Koicha matcha, how to prepare ceremonial matcha and perfect matcha latte. Rare opportunity to taste real, authentic, grand cru quality matcha outside of Japan.

 

  • Focused Green Tea Tasting (Comparative Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Taiwanese Green Tea Tasting) - tasting about 10-12 different Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Chinese, Taiwanese green teas and learning about different, green tea production methods, tradition and green tea cultivars grown in different regions of East Asia. Our award-winning, green teas are highly appreciated and praised for their freshness, supreme quality and finesse. A must-try experience for green tea lovers. 

 

  • Focused Chinese Tea Tasting - tasting rare, exceptional Chinese white, green, oolong, black, puerh teas from Fujian, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Yunnan province and learning about 10-12 different Chinese teas made from different cultivars in different regions. If you're an aficionado of supreme quality, Chinese teas, you won't be disappointed. 

 

  • Focused Japanese Tea Tasting - tasting delicious, sublime Japanese green teas (6-8 Sencha and Gyokuro made from single-cultivar) and rare, innovative, Japanese oolong, black, puerh teas. You will learn and taste about 10-12 different japanese teas made from various tea cultivars, coming from 5 different tea gardens across Japan. Our freshly sourced, Japanese green teas are highly appreciated by Japanese tea connoisseurs.>

 

  • Focused Taiwanese Tea Tasting - tasting rare teas from Taiwan. Taiwan is not only an terroir for high mountain oolong teas. In this session, you will taste about 10-12 different teas from Taiwan, including green, oolong, black and white teas and learn about different terroirs such as Sanxia, Pinglin and Hsinchu (Northern Taiwan), Ali Mountain (Alishan), Li Mountain (Lishan), Qi Lai Mountain, Nantou (Central Taiwan) and Sun Moon Lake region.

 

  • Focused Korean Tea Tasting - tasting rare, artisan teas from South Korea. South Korea is a small tea terroir in comparison to its neighbors (Japan and China), nonetheless, masterfully crafted, Korean green, semi-oxidized and fermented teas are simply outstanding and really impress tea connoisseurs who appreciate fine teas. In this session, you will taste about 10-12 different Korean green, semi-oxidized, black and fermented teas from South Korea and learn about its unique tea history and different tea terroirs.

 

  • Focused Oolong Tea Tasting - tasting exceptional quality, various oolong teas from China Taiwan. You will learn and taste about 10-12 different, mind-blowing, highly aromatic oolong teas from Wuyi Mountain (Rock oolongs), Wudong Mountain (Phoenix oolongs), high mountain, jade oolongs from Ali Mountain (Alishan) and Li Mountain (Lishan), heavy roasted oolongs from Nantou, grasshopper-beaten oolongs (Oriental Beauty) from the northern Taiwan.

 

  • Focused Puerh Tea Tasting - tasting and learning about 6-8 different, grand-cru, puerh teas, made from 100-500 year old tea trees, wildly grown on different mountains in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, China, including Lao Banzhang, Banzhang, Yiwu, Naka, Nannuo and Wuliang Mountain.

    Korean Dinner & Tea Tasting Workshop

    Start your week with delicious, healthy Korean food, thoughtfully paired with our award-winning teas! The dinner includes 3 starters, 1 main dish and 1 dessert, each course paired with 2 teas for you to compare the tea pairing with each plate. If you have food allergies or diet restrictions, please kindly get in touch with us in advance before booking the tickets.
