All You Need to Know about Sencha Yamakai Bio

Our Sencha Yamakai Bio comes from a certified organic tea garden in Shizuoka, Japan. For those who haven't been to Japan, Shizuoka is Japanese green tea capital where many celebrated Japanese tea gardens are located with a scenic view of the famous Mountain Fuji.

Sencha Yamakai Bio is an exceptional, unique and original sencha made from a highly aromatic and unique Yamakai cultivar. Yamakai is a Japanese tea cultivar developed from Yabukita seeds at the Shizuoka Tea Research Institute in 1967. Initially, Yamakai cultivar was not highly appreciated by tea industry experts in Japan because it has an unusual scent that sometimes evokes strawberries, raspberries and melons, the scents we don't often encounter in Japanese sencha. Nowadays, Yamakai cultivar is highly praised for its rich umami flavour and delicious and refreshing fruity fragrance.

For all sencha lovers, we highly recommend trying our unique Sencha Yamakai Bio - you will be pleasantly surprised by its unique strawberry and melon notes that linger long in the finish.

As with all green tea, Sencha Yamakai Bio is rich in antioxidants and known for its potential health benefits such as promoting heart health, cancer prevention, boosting the immune system and lowering down blood pressure.

A highly unique, fragrant and healthy, organically grown, pesticide-free sencha that will enhance your vitality and energy every day!
