  • Appearance: Transluscent, bright gold coloured liquor.  
  • Aroma:  Refreshing, vegetal, floral, herbaceous aromas. 
  • Flavour: Sweet, toasty, umami, vegetal flavours with a nutty finish.
  • Mouthfeel: Well-rounded, velvety liquor with a smooth mouthfeel. 

Brewing Guidance

  • Measure 1g of tea per 100ml water. Boil water to 70℃. Steep for 2-3 minutes.

Kamairicha Saemidori Bio is a rare, pan-fired style, Japanese green tea. In Japan, Sencha is the common, signature green tea, using the dominant steaming method to stop the oxidation process on the tea leaves. However, pan-fired green tea can be rarely found and when it's well-made, the tea is delightful delicious and very different from steamed green tea like Sencha.  

Our Kamiricha Saemidori Bio is a delicious, green tea originating from a certified organic tea garden in the beautiful mountainous region of Miyazaki, Japan. Made from the first flush spring harvest, this healthy, delicious green tea offers a highly aromatic and fragrant liquor with sweet, toasty, vegetal, umami flavours, it's a perfect green tea to enjoy all season long.
