Gyokuro is a type of green tea, shaded for 20 to 30 days before the harvest. Gyokuro Tea is considered as the most revered tea in Japan. Unlike other green tea from Japan, it is made from a different tea varietals such as Asahi, Saemidori , Yamakai and Okumidori. The name “Gyokuro” means “jade dew”, which reflects the light colour of the infused tea.
