Hojicha Powder is a roasted Japanese green tea powder, perfect to make Hojicha latte, Japanese pastry and sweets. As it's a roasted tea, it is naturally low in caffeine and it offers a distinctively nutty, rich flavour evocative of roasted coffee beans and toffee. It's very popular in Japan as an alternative of matcha latte (our recommendation for Hojicha Latte is oat milk, which creates a lovely foamy base) as well as perfectly delicious Japanese cakes, Hojicha ice cream, hojicha crepes (pancakes) and desserts.
