Tips for Tea Connoisseurs
Wild Arbor Dian Hong is a variety of black teas from Yunnan Province, made from tea leaves of a wild local hybrid assamica varietal grown in the high altitude of Jing Mai Mountain, Yunnan Province. Yunnan Province is the southwest frontier of China that borders with Vietnam, Laos, Burma and Tibet and is known as the birthplace of tea with some wild ancient tea trees claimed to be more than 1000 years old. Misty mountains and winding rivers in the region certainly provide an ideal habitat for tea bushes.
Dian Hong black tea is typically distinguished with its mellow and well-rounded liquor that offers a unique concoction of malty, chocolaty, earthy and gamy flavours with delicate astringency. Our Wild Arbor Dian Hong offers a predominantly chocolaty, malty liquor with a velvety mouthfeel, exhibiting a great balance between sweetness, acidity and delicate astringency.
A perfect cup of warming black tea that will comfort your soul and body in chilly days.
Black tea is known to be just as beneficial as green tea for our health and well-being. A recent study indicates several health benefits of black tea by demonstrating that flavonoids found in black tea boost the immune system to prevent flu and other viral infection and encourage the growth of healthy microorganism in the liver to boost energy metabolism and weight loss.
