Tips for Tea Connoisseurs
Yunnan Golden Black | Gianduja is a variety of Dian Hong black teas from China's southwestern Yunnan Province, which is known as the birthplace of tea. Yunnan Province is the southwest frontier of China that borders with Vietnam, Laos, Burma and Tibet and it is a well-known region for rich biodiversity. In particular, misty mountains and winding rivers in the region provide an ideal habitat for tea bushes.
Made from leaves of wild tea bushes in Simao prefecture and artfully crafted into auburn coloured leaves with golden tips, Yunnan Golden Black | Gianduja offers a luscious liquor with woody, dark chocolate flavours with a hint of hazelnuts in the finish - voilà, we named this fine Dian Hong black tea as "Yunnan Golden Black | Gianduja" inspired by its concoction of dark chocolate and hazelnut flavours, which is evocative of the delicious Turin-born hazelnut-filled chocolate, Gianduja!
With a smooth and mellow mouthfeel, our Yunnan Golden Black | Gianduja is an easy-drinking black tea that may well be appreciated by dark chocolate lovers. A perfect choice of warming black tea in chilly days, not to mention it makes a perfect pairing with chocolate based desserts.
Black tea is known to be just as beneficial as green tea for our health and well-being. A recent study indicates several health benefits of black tea by demonstrating that flavonoids found in black tea boost the immune system to prevent flu and other viral infection and encourage the growth of healthy microorganism in the liver to boost energy metabolism and weight loss.
